1. By Clicking on File Name
The easiest and known option is by a single-click on the file name. This will instantly open the file in a new browser tab by default.
Then you can view, change, or save a copy of that file using the browser or office suit.
2. Open from Command Menu
The file command menu allows you to open files in various options. You can access it by any of the following three ways:
Using Check Box
Select the file using the checkbox. After selecting the file, you will be able to see an open dropdown at the top.
Select the appropriate option and the file will open.
Using Ellipsis
Select the file using the checkbox. After selecting the file, you will be able to see three dots after the share button.
Click on the ellipsis and a popup menu will open. Choose the option from which you want to open the file.
Using Right-click
Directly right click the file and select the required option to open the file from popup.
3. Double-Click
You can also open the file by double-clicking straight anywhere in the document library. This will open the file in the new browser tab.
